| Sailing on a private Yacht like the Carpe
Diem is a unique experience. Live this

the semi-private morning or afternoon tour
of the Caldera and enjoy the benefits of this
superb Yacht. We will take care of everything
for you. We will pick you up from your Hotel
and by the time we drop you of again you will
have spent the 5 best hours of your life!
The morning excursion will depart form
the marina in Vlychada at 10:30a.m. You
will witness the dramatic red cliffs of
the Red beach, the contradiction of the
White beach, take pictures of the Indian
and the Lighthouse of Akrotiri and head
for the Volcano and the Hot Springs. Depending
on the weather the Carpe
Diem will make a stop for swimming,
snorkeling and BBQ* either at one of the
bays on the Volcano or the little Armeni
bay. It will continue the Caldera trip and
draw near the old port of Fira where technology
meets tradition: the Donkeys trying to reach
the top of the cliff before the Cable Car
does! Leaving the donkeys to their difficult
task, Carpe Diem
will sail in the shadow of Oia and the trip
will end in Ammoudi bay below Oia. The afternoon
tour will start from Ammoudi at 15:30p.m.
and do the same tour backwards but in the
fading light of the worlds most famous sunset
before it ends in Vlychada. This will give
the guests the opportunity to see the whole
Caldera from one end to the other.
The schedule is subject to change due
to weather conditions.
*The BBQ lunch or dinner will include a
variety of meat, barbequed on the spot,
fresh salads with organic ingredients that
will come straight from our own farms, cold
snacks and all drinks.
Description
